Monthly Archives: June 2014

I had the opportunity to sneak around during the wedding of Bryan “Daniel Bryan” Danielson and Brie Bella’s wedding (since they got married here in Sedona) and I wrote up my weird, perhaps somewhat uneventful experience for the newest issue of (what should be) everyone’s favorite pro wrestling zine, THE ATOMIC ELBOW.

This is, of course, in addition to other previous issues of Robert Newsome’s outstanding publication, including #7, which features an essay by me about VIRGIL (yes, THAT Virgil). You can order back issues here.

And just for the heck of it, here’s everything else available from Robert’s storefront, including shirts, which are pretty stylish.

Meanwhile, check back here for more SPACE WRESTLERS, plus info on an upcoming batch of things I’ve been working on, like COMICS.

COMICS are big on my list right now. I got to visit the Phoenix Comicon last weekend, and while the convention itself was kind of… disappointing?… I did have the opportunity to meet and talk a whole lot with Ed Piskor (Hip Hop Family Tree) and Tom Scioli (Godland, American Barbarian), and their love and dedication and energy for comics is infectious. So much so that it made me realize how lazy I have been creatively for the past few years. So I’m driving myself harder to get shit out there for you to read.

Anyway, enough jibberjabber!
